Refund and Returns Policy

Cancellation Policy for Custom Made Beds:

We prioritize delivering custom-made beds tailored to your specifications.

• A 72-hour cool-off period is offered after order placement, during which no cancellation fees apply.
• Cancellations requested after this window, once production has commenced, will incur a cancellation fee of €150.
• This fee covers costs associated with the meticulous craftsmanship involved in producing each bed.

Return Policy for Custom Made Beds:

Standard returns policy of 14 days does not extend to ‘made to order’ furniture.

Exceptional circumstances may be considered for returns, provided the following conditions are met:

• The item remains unopened.
• It is unused and in its original condition.
• The product is undamaged.
• It includes the original packaging and labels.
• A valid proof of purchase, such as a receipt, is provided.
• In addition to the cancellation fee for custom made beds, a collection fee of €60 will be charged for return .

If assembly service is opted for and packaging is removed for disposal, returns may not be possible.

Upon acceptance of your return request, inspection and collection will be arranged.

Mattress Policy:

• No free trial period offered for mattresses.
• Once packaging is opened, mattresses cannot be returned or exchanged due to hygiene reasons.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If you are not happy with the item, please let our delivery team know before they leave your premises. If the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item; please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue for you, Exceptions / non-returnable items If you have used the item, or there are any signs of tampering/altering, we will regrettably be unable to authorise the return of your item.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to select a new item for us and we will deliver the new item and collect the old item at the same time with any balance payments if the new item is a higher cost item. You will incur delivery charges as usual.

Refunds

Once we have inspected your return, we will let you know whether the refund is approved or not. If approved, you will automatically be refunded in accordance with your original payment method. Please note it can take some time. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If you paid by cash, you will be refunded in cash. Any deposits taken for bespoke or made to order items, which include all beds from our website, are non-refundable.

Please allow up to 10 days for the funds to reach your account.

Flooring and other building products:

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If you are not happy with the item, please let our delivery team know before they leave your premises. If the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item; please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue for you

Flooring and other building products can be returned within 14 days as “unwanted items” if unopened and still in a resaleable condition.

These items will be subject to a 20% restocking charge and also a minimum collection fee of €60 which depends on amount and what part of Ireland collection needs to be carried out, please email us at info@dsdhome.ie and we can arrange.
